Noida girl found murdered at home
A 14-year-old girl was found murdered in her Sector - 25 home in Noida, a Delhi suburb on Friday morning. It appears that Aarushi was killed while her parents slept in the next room. Aarushi Talwar, a student of DPS Noida, was allegedly killed by the domestic help Hemraj, who had been hired eight months back. She was a student of one of the most prominent schools in the country. Her school principal described her as 'a bright student'.

A week later, Rajesh Talwar was arrested by the Noida police, which declared that Aarushi's father had found her in a compromising position with her domestic help and had killed them both in a fit of rage. Children's rights activists were outraged by the police's comments.
